Finishes

Polished finish

The laitance is removed and the aggregate or coarse stone material is exposed. The surface is then polished.

This finish is very attractive, hard wearing and durable even in a commercial setting.

Ground & Polished finish

The laitance is removed and the aggregate or coarse stone material is exposed. The surface is then polished.

This finish is very attractive, hard wearing and durable even in a commercial setting.

Sandblasted finish

The concrete surface is blasted with either sand or steel beads using compressed air to give a soft pitted texture to the concrete.

This surface is most suited to vertical surfaces.

Trowelled & Sealed finish

The concrete surface is hand trowelled and or power trowelled.

A surface sealer is then applied to prevent staining.

This surface is not as durable as the polished surfaces and requires regular maintenance.

The concrete surface is coloured with an acid based dye and then a surface sealer is applied.

Acid Stained finish

The concrete surface is coloured with an acid based dye and then a surface sealer is applied.

The Client will have a very unique finish as no two projects will be similar.

Acid Etched finish

This gives a similar finish to sand blasting but it is much finer and more uniform.

Acid is used to remove the surface of the concrete to give a very soft warm finish.

This finish is best for a vertical application.

Dyed finish

Beton Cire finish

This product is used to replicate waxed trowelled concrete, traditionally used mainly in domestic situations in France.

It is a thin overlay material with outstanding durability.

A very attractive material, with a slightly uneven finish.

Patern Imprinted finish

Silicone Rubber Mats which are manufactured as an inverted mould of stone, slate, brick, timber, cobble and many others, can be pressed into the surface of fresh concrete usually with a colour hardener applied, to replicate the desired finish.

Cast (Board Marked) finish

The surface is a basic cast finish with timber boards used to give a board marked texture.

Many variations of this can be used.
